Hi Reader! We're doing something brand new on the FinCon Main Stage this year. Creators are going to pitch brands. Then we're flipping it around and having brands pitch creators. π It's called The Pitch Event.Brands including iShares, Crew, Solo Health, and Silo Markets are already signed on. And you don't have to just watch. β‘οΈ Today we opened applications for a handful of creators to participate on both sides of The Pitch Event. There's one catch: you need a FinCon 2026 pass to apply. π¨Applications close Wednesday, August 19 at noon CT, so if you want a shot at one of those spots, you'll need to move quickly. π FIRST: CREATORS PITCH THE BRANDSWednesday, Sept. 16 β’ Main Stage β’ 4 creator spots Four creators will get the same hypothetical brand brief: A financial services brand is launching a new savings tool. They want to partner with you, and they're open to your ideas on format and budget. Each creator gets 2 minutes + 2 slides to pitch their idea to a panel of brand decision-makers. Then the brands tell them exactly what they think: what worked, what didn't, and what would make them actually respond. π If you're one of the creators pitching, you'll get direct feedback on your approach while the brands in the room get to see how you think, create, and approach a partnership. π And if you're watching? You get to hear what brand decision-makers are looking for when a creator pitch lands in front of them. π THEN: THE BRANDS PITCH THE CREATORSFriday, Sept. 18 β’ Main Stage β’ 4 creator spots This time, the brands have to do the convincing. Brand reps will pitch a panel of experienced creators, who'll ask questions and give candid feedback about what makes a brand partnership appealing from the creator side. For these spots, we're looking for creators with enough brand partnership experience to give specific, constructive feedback about what works, what doesn't, and what would make an opportunity worth pursuing. π If you're selected, every brand watching gets to hear how you think about partnerships, what gets your attention, and what you value in a brand partner. π Everyone in the audience gets to hear both sides of the brand partnership conversation. We can talk about brand partnerships all day.Or we can put creators and brands in the same room and let you hear what they actually think. That's what we're doing at FinCon. Want a shot at one of The Pitch Event spots?Step 1: Get your FinCon 2026 pass.
Once you grab your pass, we'll send you the application so you can jump straight to Step 2. And even if you're not one of the handful of creators selected, you'll still get to be in the room to hear what both sides have to say. |
